Trained at the Manchester Medical School in England, Keith Scott-Mumby also won international recognition for his poetry while still a student. After graduating with honors, he embarked on a distinguished career in alternative psychology, nutrition, and food allergies. Dr. Scott-Mumby was among the first voices in medicine to acknowledge the commonness of food allergies, and the devastating effects they have on human health. He pioneered the field of clinical ecology, and was elected to the prestigious Royal Society of Medicine in recognition of his work.
Dr. Scott-Mumby is a faculty member of the California Institute for Human Science. He has authored several books, three of which are often used as text books by professors of natural therapies: 1)
The Food Allergy Plan, 2) The Allergy Handbook, and 3)
The Complete Guide to Food Allergy and Environmental Illness.
