These benefits are included in the membership fees for all members of the Natural Therapies Association:

$ 25,000 AD & D Coverage

The Accidental Death and Dismemberment Plan gives Natural Therapies Association members ease and comfort from the financial burden of accidental injuries or death.  This plan provides immediate benefits for services rendered and injuries sustained from an accidental injury.

Every member will receive this coverage effective immediately when you pay your membership fee.  You may keep this coverage to age 75 (with reductions at age 65).

$ 25,000.00 Identity Fraud Coverage 

Identity theft is becoming a major problem in our society.  More than 400,000 Americans and 40,000 Canadians were victims of identity theft last year (2007). Protect your identity.  This valuable coverage is included with your membership.   Identity theft is a very ugly, quiet theft. You don’t know how it happened. You just know someone has taken your name, identification number, date of birth and personal information; and has been posing as you. Your credit is ruined. Getting to the bottom of it all can be a nightmare. Sometimes it can take months or even years of your time to restore your good name. Hopefully this will never happen to you, but should it, know that you are covered. There are no deductibles. This protection will pay up to $25,000 for:

• Lost wages as a result of time taken off from work to handle legitimate fraud, with coverage of up to $500 per week for four weeks.
• Notary and certified mailing costs for sending fraud affidavits.
• Fees for re-applying for loans that were turned down due to false credit information.
• Phone charges for calling merchants, financial institutions and law enforcement agents to discuss the fraud.
• Reasonable attorney fees incurred with prior consent.
• It all adds up to a little more peace of mind.

This benefit is valued at $250 for licensed health care professionals.
